"That will kill it!" (nbr)

I woke up suddenly to this phrase this morning. DH yelled it in excitement in his sleep. So I asked "kill what hon?"

"You know. The thing."

"What thing?"

"The pepper."

"Why do you want to kill the pepper?"

"mumble mumble mumble" Back to sleep he went.

I'm still really curious as to why he wanted to kill the pepper and why it was so exciting to him.

  • LOL... my H does stuff like this all the time.  When i ask him about it in the morning he never remembers.  I wish he would because I would love to know what he was dreaming.

Sometimes H also screams in his sleep.  I hate that, it's scary.  And he gets even more scared when I wake him up.

  • I am the one who does this in our family. MH thinks it's hilarious to keep talking to me to see what I will say. Mostly it's just nonsense. He has recorded it with his cell phone voice recorder before. It made for a good laugh when I woke up!

He told me I did that a couple weeks ago. I have no idea why I would have screamed in my sleep but it freaked the hell outta him. I felt bad even though I have no idea why I screamed and it wasn't my fault really.

  • A few months ago, I woke to DH saying, "Oh, you want strawberries?  I can get some from the market."  I laughed for a long, long time.

  • So funny!!  One of my college roommates talked in her sleep all the time.  After the first few times, I started to talk back to her and we would have full conversations about the weirdest things and she wouldn't remember any of it in the morning.  It was so funny!

  • I LOVE this! My DH does this fairly frequently and I always find it SUPER funny. At least, even when I can't sleep, I can be entertained. :-)

  • Haha I'm the one that talks sometimes and my DH finds it entertaining. My DH doesn't talk in his sleep but he gets agitated and almost panicky sometimes.
  • Haha aww I love it when MH talks in his sleep.  I always try to egg him on.  The funniest one was actually my sister like 15 years ago...we shared a room when we were young, and one night, she just started laughing in her sleep.  It was kind of creepy, so I asked her what was up.  She just said, "His evil lair is on the couch."  I asked her about it the next morning, and apparently, she was dreaming about our beagle.  It was a big joke between us for a while.
