A woman that works with DH has a sister who had a baby about three months ago. Today she brought in 2 boxes of newborn diapers that they baby has outgrown, and they won't use, and a bag of clothes and gave them to DH. It was so incredibly nice of her and her sister (who we have never met). What can I do to thank them for this? I was thinking of making cookies for both of them, but I don't know if that's weird since we have never even met the sister. Any ideas?? Thanks!
Re: Thank you for hand me downs?
I did this for DH's coworkers who are giving us stuff. If he knows something that is a little more personal, then we're doing that. For example, one of the guys who gave us a bunch of stuff is a compulsive RedBull drinker, so he bought him a 6pack. I am making cookies for another lady, she is just thrilled that we're getting this stuff out of her house.
Agreed! I think a thank you note would be perfectly fine!
