2nd Timers: Hurting your back during labor?

So ever since the beginning of my pregnancy, I always figured I would be having a c-section for a couple of reasons: 1) clotting disorder 2) back problems. And I haven't even considered doing vaginal. My OB agreed with me in the beginning about a c-section because of my back....I'm worried that after hours of pushing, I may hurt my back to the point of not being able to walk for a few months afterward, with a newborn. Well now a few weeks ago she tells me that she wants me to think about it more and to talk more about it with my high risk doc because she now thinks it may cause more of a risk to me with my clotting disorder if we do a c-section. SO, I have an appt with my high risk doc on the 22nd and will discuss it with him then, but now this has got me thinking about having a vaginal birth.....and now I want a vaginal birth more than a c-section! But I am still worried about messing up my back......

So I guess my question is, how bad was your back after labor? Just sore or could you not walk for awhile? Any women with constant back problems gone vaginal, and how did your back hold up during and after? And I really want to BF, so if I have to be on heavy pain meds for my back for a few months after giving birth, that wont work out well.
