Comfort Nurser?

DD has started this lately where she'll get fussy and all she wants to do is nurse. Most of the time her tummy is already full and I think she's experiencing an upset tummy, but doesn't know any better so she feeds.

This just makes her more full and spits up all over the place.

How can I get her to take a pacifier or comfort her without her eating and making herself more full?
