If you were on PIO... when did you stop?

I went today and both babies looked wonderful! Heart rates were around 171 and 168 :) We were very happy! But the doctor told me that I can stop with PIO all together tomorrow (8 weeks). I feel like this is so early and it makes me nervous something will go wrong... when did you stop them?

    I was told that I could stop after 10 weeks. I had a few extra days after 10 weeks left so I used them up before I stopped.

    I was on crinone, not PIO, but I stopped a few days before 8 weeks and all's well! I was more nervous about stopping Met., but that went fine too!

    I went to 12 weeks, but I also had a bleeding episode at 7 weeks that made everyone take extra precautions with me.

    I'll go against the grain and say that I have heard 10-12 weeks

    I've also been told not to quit cold turkey, but to gradually wean yourself off the meds. 

    Personally due to other issues, I didn't stop until 18 weeks and starting weaning at 14-15 weeks.

    TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages. Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011. VOTE on my Name List Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I was on PIO for 10.5 weeks but that was because I had spotting at 7 weeks due to a SCH.  At my first Peri appointment they let me stop and that was a happy day.  Congrats!!

    Congratulations! That is wonderful. 9w 4d I still remember that wonderful day. My butt still has numb spots but all worth it of course. I am sure you'll do fine at this point I don't think the progesterone is really doing much for you. Good luck to you for a long uneventful pregnancy!

    I was on crinone and PIO and at 8 weeks my RE told me that I could stop one of them, but had to be on some form of progesterone until 12 weeks. I chose to stop the crinone first, but only because I HATED it. It was so gross and messy! :)

    13 weeks.  My RE likes to monitor your pregnancy through the first trimester though.  So I didn't get released until then either.
