s/o if your DS has FAT feet shoe help needed

Carter has FAT feet and doesn't seem to be able to fit into regular shoes.  So other mom's of wide feet kids what do you buy?

My gf's boys both had fat feet and she said Echo's or Stride Rite extra wide shoes were all that would really fit them.

DS wore wide Stride Rite's when his feet were fat.

stride right extra wide.  i had to order them online (shoebuy or zappos) b/c not all stores carry them.

Stride Rite (still, and he's almost 5) 

Also, New Balance and Saucony make wide (he's had Saucony)

We've also bought a couple pair of Skechers (the z-strap or something) that seem to be okay....that strap makes them more forgiving.

We also buy stride rite for my ds who has extra wide feet..luckily we have an outlet nearby.

Clarks are big here for kids shoes and I had  no idea that they were even sold in the US until my sister pointed it out to me a few weeks ago while I was back home in the States.  If you have one around you, it may be worth a try.

My kids both had/have feet like that.  See Kai Run always works for us without fail, so I pretty much exclusively buy their shoes there (as babies) because we don't have any selection locally and there are no chances with ordering online if I go with what I know!

DS has always been successful with Stride Rites.  He has also had a pair of skate sneakers which are usually wider cut that fit him good.
