So excited for this weekend!

DH's cousin has two dogs that he can't take care of anymore. He travels a lot and doesn't have anyone to watch them while he's gone.  I think he's going through some financial problems too.

He wanted to keep the dogs in the family and was going to give them back to his mom (she orignially got him both the dogs and is pretty attached to them).  But she already has 2 dogs and a pretty small house. She doesn't have room for 2 more big dogs.

So, we all agreed that DH and I would take one of the dogs.  Max (our current dog) desperately needs a playmate and Scooter (the dog we're getting) is really good dog.

He never went through a "puppy stage" and he's a lot of fun.

DH's cousin is driving down half way to meet his mom (we're in TN, he's from new england) to give her the dogs.

I know H's cousin is really sad about it, but we are REALLY excited.  We him on Sunday.  I'll have to post some pictures then.
