Lightning crotch vs round ligament pain?

Hi again ladies!  I wrote a post earlier about what round ligament pain felt like to you all, and came across another term...lightning crotch...online shortly thereafter.  It is also described as a stabbing feeling in the pelvic/vaginal area.  Does anyone know if this is different than round ligament pain, or is it exactly the same thing?  Thanks!

Different from what I've been told and experienced.

"Lightening crotch:" is sharp stabby type pains in your vaginal canal.  Or what I call whooo-haaa  (Pain does feel similar to what RLP would feel like just further south).

RLP: Stabby type pain in your low abdom. or sides.  Sometiems it's a dull ache and can even feel crampy at times.  This is your uterus stretching.  Nurses have explained it to me as it feeling like a rubber band is being pulled.  These can last several seconds to a minute, go away, and may come back again.

To me, lightening crotch actually feels like it's inside your vagina, and RLP is more in the groin area for me.

RLP is felt mostly in the groin area or the sides of your stomach...at least that's where mine is.  lightning crotch is felt right in your crotch, pubic area.  this might be different for everyone, but that's the way both are to me.

Is lightning crotch also a normal part of pregnancy?  Should I worry if I experience it?  Thanks again!

I had it for the first time this weekend.  Wow-za.  It kinda hurt!  But I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.
