Had 2nd appointment today

Got to hear the heartbeat again which was so reassuring. I told the midwife about my spotting and she didn't seem concerned at all so I feel better. She said at my next appointment we will do the anatomy scan which is so exciting...things seem to be moving along faster now!

It was funny too, the midwife had a new midwife along with her and she seemed so nervous and didn't know how to use the computer. I think I was her very first appointment at this hospital.

Woohoo!  Good, because I have been sending you good vibes since your last post! Did anyone give any answers about why they never called you back?! 

I can't wait until my anatomy scan!   When are you doing yours?

Glad your second appointment went well. Mine was this morning, and it was good too. Doctor thought everything looked fine. I found out that NT scan results, which were good... risk of Down's is low... 1 in 4,800. Did need to do an early one-hour glucose test, but at least it didn't make me sick. It just gave me a slight headache.

I'm doing the early anatomy scan in a month.

Thanks! I actually didn't bring it up, the midwives are so darn nice I feel like an arse saying something bad to them lol

Our scan will be April 11. I'm excited!

So happy to hear that everything went really well! Spotting is definitely super scary - and yay about the anatomy scan!!!
