Stupid stink ?

This might sound stupid but will you know if you have a stink problem? Will it be obvious or subtle? When I am pulling my inserts out of the dryer I smell a couple of them (since I have only been doing this for a few weeks I worry about ruining the dipes somehow) Anyway when I smell them like inhale the insert, I think I smell poop but the I think it might just be in my head since I am smelling the insert so deeply. So will I know if I have a stink issue?

    i had a stink problem, and i couldn't figure it out because they smelled fine coming out of the dryer.

    all it took was one pee once it was on dd and you know...

    oh you will know. I am dealing with this right now.  They smell fine out of the dryer, but one pee and my eyes water.
