probiotics?

Has anyone tried probiotics for indigestion/stomach stuff?  between the nausea, heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, and bloating, I never know what symptom is going to come up next.  Am home now while my DH goes to a party because I've gone through three of them in the last hour.  One of my yoga students suggested I try probiotics and just wanted to see if anyone else had had any success?  Going to an acupuncturist this week - will keep you posted about that....

  • I have been having the dannon probiotics drinks in the morning.  I have to say I think it does help with my constipation.  But not a HUGE amount.  It's worth a shot though, they are tasty and only 80 calories.

  • My prenatal vitamin has probiotics, and I feel like it has helped with stomach stuff.  It also has whole foods and ginger, which seems to help the vitamins go down easier.  When I tried adding calcium in the morning, I got super sick.  I tend to get an upset stomach with vitamins, but it seems like the stuff in these vitamins is helping.

  • I take them everyday. Pro-biotics are amazing and will help with your digestion, general immunity and your baby's health if you have a vaginal birth or BF!

  • I also take probiotics everyday. They are great for stomach problems, and like the PP said, baby's immunity. They also help ward off yeast infections, which are common during pregnancy.

    I go to acupuncture once a month too which helps with just about everything.
