We just found out that DSD's 5 month old baby sister was diagnosed with Lissencephaly - long story short her brain stopped developing sometime in the second trimester of pregnancy.  She will be blind and never progress past a 5 month old.  I am just heartbroken - DSD is 15 and so far handling it well, but I'm scared for her too.  Any thoughts and prayers would be wonderful - and hug your little ones a little closer tonight!
