Hello. I'm new to this board but was active on the knot when I was planning my wedding a year and a half ago. Anyway, I'm due June 4th and was curious if anyone had any opinions or suggestions on good blogs or baby sites to use to keep friends and family up-to-date on the last few months of my pregnancy and for once the baby is born. I'd like to use it for short journal entries and to store photos and short videos for friends and family to see. Any opinions/information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

    Hi, I remember you from TK! Congrats!! I'm due June 4th also :)

    I use WordPress.com for my blog (link in sig). I find it easy to use.

    I use blogger.com and it's very easy - I imagine wordpress is pretty much the same thing, too. It's almost like composing a doc in Word and hitting save. Congrats and good luck!! :)

    I personally like Tumblr. It has a lot of easy-to-use interactive features that allow you to upload video, audio and other goodies. You can actually upload audio by simply calling a telephone number and saying whatever you'd like to say. 

    I've tried the others and they're fine, too. But Tumblr seems to be a little easier and a lot of fun.

    FYI: I'm also due in June! Do you know what you're having yet or are you going for the big surprise?

    Katwriter - So, we are having a boy! What are you having? Also, is your blog something you share on here? I didn't see it in your siggy but I could be missing it. No big deal if you aren't sharing the link.

    Hi, I'd recommend Intoloop Kids (www.intoloop.com). My sister has been using it for a while and I'm thrilled to be able to see what's going on in my niece's life :) You can store photos and write journal entries. And it looks lovely :) For some reason there are no screen shots on the web site but their blog has some, blog.intoloop.com. If i remember correctly the invitation code is STARDUCK. I can find it for you if I recalled incorrectly.
