Hi there girls. Im very excited to be joining you all on the first tri board! I am 5 weeks pregnant today with my first little one. I am a 29 year old nurse(previous L and D experience and I now work in an office). Wishing you all very safe pergnanies and healthy babies!
I have a gift card to Victoria's Secret and am already starting to outgrow my old bras! I need a recommendation on a good supportive pregnancy bra. i am also open to suggestions from other stores as well but would like to use my gift card. Please help. Thanks and best wishes!
Re: Hello there and recommendations on a good pregnancy bra from Victorias Secret?
I wouldn't normally go to Victoria's Secret for a "good pregnancy bra," but since you already have a gift card, look for "full coverage." I think there are decent full coverage bras in the Angels and Body collections.
You just reminded me that I have a giftcard there, too. I've got a couple of D bras that are still hanging on for dear life, not sure what I'm going to do after they kick the bucket.

There really isn't such thing a bra specific for pregnancy - usually it just means something bigger and more supportive
My only caution is that your boobs might continue to get bigger and bigger, so spending the money (or spending your gift card) on a really nice, expensive bra that's only going to last a couple of months might not be the most economical.
I find a lot of Target bras (Gilligan & O'Malley) to be similar in structure and style to VS, and even though they might not last as long, are cheaper and more worthwhile for short-term use. If you're planning on breastfeeding, you're going to need a whole new set of bras anyway.
I'm not 100% positive, but I but believe that Gilligan & O'Malley is actually made by Victoria Secret for Target. I love their lounge-wear and pajamas.
Thanks for the insight girls! I got the full coverage because thats what the salesperson recommended. Im sure they wont fit forever but hopefully I can use them after the pregnancy too. I am going to take a look at Target for some more "sporty" bras. My boobs are killing me already, especially trying to exercise. My husband was very excited to see that I graduated to a D cup! Thank youeveryone for your advice!
