Vent: Childrens Live Shows

Why don't they ever bring the Disney or Nick Jr. live shows to the West Coast, or rather NorCal/Central Valley? Except for the occasional ice show or Elmo (every couple of years), we never get anything. I see the commercials for the Imagination Movers or the Nick shows, and they are only scheduled for the East Coast. I even emailed Nickelodeon once to ask when they would be bringing one of their shows to CA, and they said sometime in the next year. That year has passed...and nothing! Vent over.

One of my friends in San Diego just took her son to Imagination Movers in the last week or two.

We went and saw Disney Live in Phoenix.

Imagination Movers and Laurie Berkner have both been in Oakland and some sort of Disney on Ice is in San Jose right now.

I've been looking, but never saw the Oakland shows. San Diego is a 9 hour drive, so SoCal shows are always out. Yet another reason why the Central Valley is an entertainment desert.
