tanish brown color (kinda gross)

After I go to the bathroom, there is some tanish, light brown discharge on the tp. Not in my panties or toilet and only on the first wipe. It's not always there just like 2 times yesterday and once today. There's no cramping and its not blood, I've never seen blood this color and its not clotting or and it's pretty translucent. What is this? I've got a doctors appt today but I'm pretty worried.

At 5 weeks, I'd bet it's left over from implantation and is finally working it's way out.

It's probably old blood.  Mention it to your doctor at your appointment, but I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.

Dont Panic.  I had this during week 6-7, it lasted for about a week, and then stopped on it's own.  I am now 12 weeks tomorrow, and have several amazing ulrasound pictures to prove my little one is safe.

My OB said that this discharge is totally norma, just think of all the huge hormonal changes your body is going through.  Also, it can be old blood just streaking through when you wipe.  OR it may be that you have a slight irritation inside your Vagina, my hubby and I have not ben allowed to have sex in 6 weeks because I seem to be super sensitive down there.  I have been all clear since week 7-8 so OB says we ca hit the sack again when I get to 12 weeks... it will be a busy night tomorrow... haha

 Seriousley though, dont worry, totally normal, like I say I had this exactly, and everything is fine!  Good luck xx
