Mine's been all over the place - transverse at u/s, but head down lately (assumed by feel, not by u/s).
And you don't really know if your last was always head down... just that he was when they checked, right? Unless you're better at these "where's the baby" guesses than I am.

Mine is all over the place by feel too. The last 2 u/s shes been breech, but she does what she wants. I wouldnt worry about it. Babies move all the time, they dont just stay in one position.
at my ultrasound at 29w6d she was still breech. my DS was head down way before this and stayed that way. so i'm a little nervous too. i have another ultrasound on the 17th so hopefully she's turned by then.

True. No, I def could never distinguish body parts from the outside of my belly. And still can't.
This LO was transverse at 20 weeks (at u/s) and at 26 weeks...I definitely knew something was different because this week I started feeling a lot more pressure down lower than before. I said this baby has moved into either head-down or breech position, and I was right.
So far, DS was WAY more active in there than this baby is...so I'm hoping he/she will get to where they need to be in time for delivery.

DD has been transverse since day one! I am starting to worry because according to some VERY light research I've done only 10% of babies are transverse at 28 weeks. Here I am, 30 and change, and she is still 100% below my belly button!

This LO has been breech since my 18 week ultrasound. I just went for my 28 week appt. and yes he is still breech. My OB told me that as long as I'm feeling the kicks low it means he is in the breech position. She also told me not to be to concerned b/c most babies are in the breech position at 28 weeks. She said they don't get concerned until about 35 weeks. If he is still breech at 35 weeks then they will do an ultrasound to check his position, and possibly try to turn him. She said about 50% of babies can be turned and about 30% stay head down once turned. So we are counting down the weeks, and I'm hoping the little one won't be stubborn and pretty soon I'll feel some kick up near my ribcage.

Yup 31 weeks and breech. She was head down and posterior for the last several weeks then last week flipped. I have a bad h of breech so I do get nervous but I am trying not to worry too much. My dr said first time moms who r breech have a lower chance of flipping vs when ur uterus is more strechted out from prior pregnancies.

I had this exact question 2 weeks ago but it is my3 rd baby. I laid upside down on my ironing board a couple times and went back for a ck up today and my son has turned back head down. I know he can still turn again but am praying he stays head down. Hopefully your lo will do the same. I believe they can turn around upto 36-37wks and possibly later. Good luck to u
I can't tell what body part is what. My baby was breech at 19 wks and I feel lots of pressure and movement low on my bladder but I also feel things up top by my rib cage. Are those punches up there?

DD was head down from 20 weeks, this one is a gymnast. I don't think I will start being concerned until my doctor is. Plus, I have having ctx now....so I am happy if her head is not down yet - less pressure on cervix.
