Carter's Sale Question

SO there are super adorable Rompers on there that I think would be perfect for the hot summer weather. How do I know what size to get? Will 3M be a safe bet? TIA

I have no experience, so I can't say for sure.. but that's what I've been ordering from there!

Make sure you look at the weight for each size. I look in the store and Carters newborn clothes said 5-8lbs. I am pretty certain my kid is going to be born bigger than that, so I bought the next size up. I think it said 8-12lbs or something.

My family has been telling me to buy 3mos and that has been the size I have been buying.

I've been buying 3 months and some newborn. I haven't had an ultrasound since the anatomy scan and unless something goes wrong, I will not have another one. So I have no idea how big our little girl will be. If she's on the smaller side and around 6lbs., then she could be in newborn clothing all summer long.

Thanks ladies just bought some cute rompers He has PLENTY of clothes already but most are onesies and pants so I really wanted to get his some cute rompers.

Get some newborn!!

Carter's fits longer, since they actually ARE longer.  Cole was in NB for 5 weeks, and he was 7lb 6 oz at birth.  He only wore 3 month for 3 WEEKS.  We had only bought 3 newborn outfits, and had to go out the day after we got home to get him more clothes.  Just keep the tags on them, and keep the receipt.  It only takes an hour to do a load of laundry, and if you need to exchange them for bigger, you still can.  

Gerber however, runs a full size too small.  Don't bother getting NB anything from them.

I figured my twins will be small so I stocked up on Carters nb and then bought 3 months for in dresses for the hot summer time.

I also bough Gerber nb because they are so tiny!!

All of this. We had to go out and buy more NB sizes because nothing fit him for the first month or so.
