Tell me I don't need this

https://www.biglots.com/browseDepartmentItem/baby/1720

It's an Evenflo Xport Stroller--a nicer umbrella stroller with a basket for $40. The price on Amazon is listed for $95.

Right now we have a regular umbrella stroller but there is no basket and I feel like I'm slumping over when pushing it. We also have the "big" stroller. Eventually I think I'll have to get one of those sit and stand strollers.

Do you think it's worth it to get one of these?  I know DH would say no..ha ha.

  • Oh, but I think you do. I think I need one as well. Even though I wear her 90% of the time that we are out, we have a great large stroller, and she will be walking soon I would like something I can keep in the trunk to use at the mall when I want to try on pants.

That really made me lol!  Isn't it a great deal?

  • you don't need it!  Where do you need to take it?

My prob w/ the umbrella stroller is that I always needed 2 hands to push it, so my vision of sipping on a coffee while strolling never happened.  And, its a little too short for me anyway.

  • It is a great deal. It is making me consider a trek to the 'burbs to go to Big Lots. Ada just fell asleep though, so I might be over it by the time she wakes up. We were just looking at umbrella strollers last week.

Oh and if that made you laugh you should have seen me trying on pants with her asleep in the Ergo, now that was funny.

    LOL Jen.

I've only used the umbrella stroller once and I had a hard time controlling it with one hand, obviously it's smaller and we took it with us on vacation, but I really liked the big stroller better, more storage for all my bags, etc. But that is a great deal. So hard I would just buy it.

  • Its a good deal and you'll probably use it.  We have an umbrella stroller and while we rarely use it, I am glad that we have it.  We actually got rid of our big stroller, well it was kind of broken and we freecycled it.

  • What are the reviews on Amazon like?

We got a freebie umbrella stroller, it ended up sucking- I hated bending over to push it.  We left it in the hotel in the Bahamas we were staying in and I just wore her home on the plane.

@Matildasun- my fave move is peeing w/ the sleeping baby in the ergo, while trying to keep the 3 year old from touching everything in the public bathroom.
