Do you ever use your Kawaii heavy wetter overnight diaper during the day - with other inserts? Or do you have no need to since you have other diapers you like?
We have one Kawaii heavy wetter in yellow with aplix. We really like it. It's the only diaper so far that we haven't had a leak in (although last night we have have had a teeny amount leak onto his fleece soaker).
However, I saw that you said you don't like the aplix version but like the snaps better. When I found out about Kawaii HW I think I ordered it from KC's (maybe) and that's the only color they had - I didn't know at the time that they came in snaps.
I'm going to order a couple more from the company - maybe the cow one and the dots.
I have a GM GN that sweetpea sold to me and I'm so excited to use it, but we have to get a good wool soaker that fits him properly first (his woollybottoms is slightly too big in the waist and the rise could be a bit taller in the back to prevent leaks). I'm going to get disana I think.

Up until last week, I only had 3 Kawaii Overnights, which I only used for nighttime. Now I have 3 snaps and the one aplix. I am actually going to try to start using the aplix one during the day, because I have enough of the snaps for night. I always use hemp and microfiber in the Kawaii Overnights - I just think the thicker TPU is what keeps the pocket from leaking at night.
My issue with the aplix is that I don't feel like it sticks really well. I use their Heavy Duty OS and the aplix is totally different. It sticks REALLY well and never moves. When I'm putting the Overnight aplix on, I feel like I have to keep adjusting and that it doesn't stay exactly where I want it to.
I have all of their Crossover Fun prints, a bunch of their Snazzy Minkys and the Heavy Dutys. I really like them all, but like their Crossover the best for daytime. The Snazzy Minky aplix (which are out of stock right now) bothers me just as much as the Overnight aplix.
Prior to using the Kawaiis overnights, I was using GM and BSRB overnights. I just used a PUL cover - Kawaii usually - and they worked fine. I just didn't like how they fit my DS really. I kept on feeling like I was doing something wrong, because the rise always looked so low on my DS and it didn't look like it would last him to a year.
