We get it on Monday... I am sort of dreading it, but I think it is mostly just fear of the unknown.
DD has an appointment for next week that I think I am going to cancel. It isn't mission critical that the appointment happen right now and I'd like for us to have more time to get used to it and get in a routine before trying to do anything "extra."
Thanks for the heads up about the first week. And, thanks for thinking of us!
the unknown really is the worst part. make sure you dont leave star until u feel semi comfortable putting it on and off. if you have any questions or support i am here. oh the bumbo or having him sit on his own makes putting on easier.
DH and I are both going to go so that we can both learn to be comfortable getting it on an off. Leah told me to expect to spend at least an hour there!
How did your LO that first day? I think DD may be a nightmare. She will not keep hats on her head or shoes on her feet. (But for whatever reason she loves her mittens and will leave them on even inside! LOL)
Anyway, I think it will really frustrate her that she can't pull it off. I foresee a huge battle of the wills. I know I need to win, but her red headed temper means that it might be a protracted fight!
i know this sounds silly but a couple days before i did some prep. i put a hat onlos head during feedings and just playtime. when hetried pulling at it i would act silly to make him forget about it. i swear it helped but it may not have. lol
the first on and off day was annoying it got a lot better when he was doing the four on.

Great Idea! We got a bunch of hats at christmas, so I'll keep putting them on her this weekend.
Thanks!
