1st Trimester

Did you feel like this?

I'm lurking over from TTGP. I am 8 DPO today and I've been charting my temps and CM. My temps have been steady and flatlined the last few days. I am on cycle day 24 with AF expected after a 30 day cycle. The lat few days I have been EXTREMELY hungry and want to eat a lot, However Im also very nauseated. I want to eat because I'm hungry but then I don't because I don't want to throw up. I've had quite a bit of cramping too. I tested this afternoon but it wasn't FMU and it was a BFN. I plan on testing in the next few mornings with FMU. Did anyone feel this way too? I don't like being sick but really hoping for a BFP. TIA!!!!

Re: Did you feel like this?

  • I think I remember you posting something like this at the end of your last cycle. (maybe?) But, anyway, I really think you need to relax... and I mean that in a nice way, not a snarky way.. i got my bfp with the very last pee of the day on 10 dpo. Phantom symptoms are very common, but the only way to really know for sure is to wait a few days and test again. Please don't stress yourself out by testing every single day this early. Good luck to you!

  • I got my BFP at 12dpo. I had AF like cramps from days 12-14, and began feeling extra hungry at about 13dpo. Good luck!

Completely irrelevant and doesn't really matter, but yes, it was you. You really need to just take a deep breath and try not to stress yourself out each month. Fingers crossed that this is your month though.

  • I just checked my pregnancy magic 8 ball and it says "You seem to always be hungry during PMS - this is not a pregnancy symptom"  The magic 8 ball was a little surprised that your "regular" cycles have magically switched from 32 days to 30 days, but that you're period isn't due for over a week and therefore you probably would be throwing money in the toilet by taking any tests over the next couple of days.

Huh, the pregnancy magic 8 ball isn't usually quite so snarky.  I'll have to bring it in and have it looked at.

  • GIve the girl a break everyone.  We all know what its like when we are TTC and desperately want to be pregnant.

Hun, I pray that this is your month.  I remember being hungry to start with, before the nausea kicked in.  But the best advice really is to relax.  It will happen when you are most relaxed about it.  Try not to stress, and try not to get ahead of yourself.  THe two week inbetween OV and a missed period are the longest ever and I remember going crazy wondering was I pg or not.  Try to chill out, go shopping, do lunch with your girlfriends, plan something with your S/O, and dont take any tests until you are 3 days past your missed period.  Otherwise you wll drive yourself crazy with getting BFNs cause of testing too soon, or thinking you may possibly see a faint line... etc... it can make you go through an emotional rollercoaster for nothing.  Wait until 3 days after you miss your P, then take a test, and hope for the best news possible.

Best of Luck Hun, and dont get discouraged by some snarky hormonal comments.  We have all been in your shoes, hoping and not knowing.  It will happen for you, just relax.

    hugs x
