HCG levels doubling but extremely low... please help with advice

I am pregnant with my third.  I am 7 weeks and my HCG levels are super low but are doubling.  Started at 50, and they have been doubling over this past week but still only at 500. At 7 weeks they should be around 15,000.  Ive been in constant contact with my doctor and he is saying there could be a number of different possibilities... ectopic, healthy pregnancy, poorly developing pregnancy, miscarriage.  Oh, and I am also bleeding.  yes bleeding.  Just wondering if anyone out there had low HCG levels early on that were doubling, but were very low.  And what the outcome was.  thanks.

I am so sorry that you are going through this.  I have 2 pregnancies that had low betas....one turned out good, one turned out bad.  A pregnancy that I had last year, I started off low, and just never really doubled at all....it was going up, but at no point did it double.  I had a m/c at 9 weeks......

For this pregnancy, I had lower numbers, but they always more than doubled.  I was also concerned about an eptopic....I think my numbers were low because of late ovulation and/or late implementation. 

 

So sorry about this, I know just how hard, and nerve wrecking it can be.  Hang in there.

Yikes, how unsettling!  I hope it turns out to be just a dating issue or something.  Fingers crossed!

I am sorry, Im not sure how everything has turned out for you.  Please let me know!  I was recently pregnant with my first, at age 41, and very excited.  But at 6 weeks since my LNMP, I had an HCG count of 85 and thought that was significantly low. The doctors said not to jump to conclusions... the next day I had terrible cramping and bleeding.  And yes, I had a miscarriage last weekend, but I will get through this.  Just knowing that conception is possible is a blessing at my age.  Just hope my eggs havent all gone to crap.  Hope youre having better luck.
