How to find a mom's group????

I am going crazy here! I need a group to join.. I have tried meetup but all of the ones in South OC aren't taking new members, or haven't responded to my request..

How is gymboree? I just want to get out with DD and some little ones around her age since she is getting to the stage of really getting interactive (if that makes sense? lol)...

I found mine on meetup. Maybe check some other meetups in cities near you. I would see if any of the churches in your area have MOPS. I have heard good things about the Aliso Gymboree. Worth checking out the trial. Also google to see if your city has a MOMs group. Milkalicious might have a group as well.

My mom's club is through my City. Orange has three mom's clubs, based on where you live in the City. We also do Gymboree and love it.

Sign up at ocmommies.com. Its free to sign up.  They plan all sorts of fun events and get togethers where you can meet new mommy's.   They do cocktail nights, lunches, etc.  I have been to a few of the events and its great!!

I'm right there with ya sister... I've been looking for ages!! We live in the same town, I'm convinced we're doomed....

I am apart of ocmommies.com It includes all OC - but has most of the events in South OC. I go out to at least 1 or 2 events a week with them. I have made my best friends from that group. Just know that you have to put in the time to get the reward. Keep showing up and signing up for things and people will start noticing you and welcoming you. Its just a large group, so a lot of people only come out once or twice and then seem to disappear? So its hard for us that are really involved to know who is really commited and planning to stay. You may also find a 2nd moms group once you are in Ocmommies. I notice a lot of them are in 2 groups but I am happy with just being in this one. They keep you busy and the events are super fun!
