Miles and Milo

Does anyone see Milo as a nn for Miles?  A post a little farther down made me think about it.

I know a little boy names Miles and they call him Milo.  I think it's a nice solution if you feel like Milo should have a more grown up option.

I don't think it sounds like a nn for Miles, I think of it as a stand alone name.  I prefer Milo, but like them both.

Yeah, definitely, it's on our list for this guy.  They certainly can stand on their own, but they are related (actually, Milo is historically the formal version, but I digress).  I love nicknames, I think it's great to have options with a name.

I know many people to would only use Milo as a nickname to Miles, but I think it is a great name on its own. I do like Miles, but personally prefer Milo as a given name.

The only time anyone's called our Miles "Milo" is when they're calling him and his brother "Milo and Otis". :P I think it's a great name, though. (Milo. Miles too, obvs.)
