Every pregnancy my baby has been "floating" or pretty high. My cervix is up so high that dr's can't check it during an internal. I'm hoping for a VBA2C and am looking to see if anyone else has experienced this.
I didn't until very late in labor which I think is rare for first babies. At my 39w/6d appointment I had my first internal and she was still floating high even though I was between 2-3cm. MW could barely reach my cervix and my u/s that day showed her very high. I went into labor that afternoon and was still carrying high all through the night. When we finally went to the hospital I was 8cm and could still feel her kicking and pushing her butt into my ribs, even though the nurse that did my internal when I arrived said my bag of waters was bulging and low. I didn't feel like I dropped until my MW broke my water and LO was born 45 minutes later.
Good luck, I hope you get your VBAC!
