I posted this on PAIF and wanted to post here too. Thank you all for your t&p's today. We really appreciate them!

I just got home. I'm going to eat something, and run back to the hospital. Leland had three more episodes while I was there. The last one was the worst. It took them a really long time to get his heart rate to slow down. It got up to 324. They can't figure out what's causing it. They had to start a new IV and give him some medicine. He's going to be started on a medication every 12 hours that supposed to help lower his heart rate. This medicine worries me though because they said sometimes it can lower the heart rate to much and cause other problems. He was doing so well yesterday, the Dr.'s and nurses were saying how impressed they were and that it was amazing how he improved over night. Now he has another hurtle to overcome. My poor sweet baby boy. I feel so bad for him.

The strange part, whenever Lelands heart rate goes up, Greyson starts crying and his heart rate goes up a little.

((Hugs)) ... I really hope the medicine works and doesn't cause any adverse effects.

As for Greyson's behavior...I'd say "it's a twin thing." Blake tends to get a little hysterical whenever his sister is having a procedure or a rough day.

The bond between twins is really amazing. I hope Leland is feeling better soon...it must be SO scary to see those numbers. Don't forget to take care of yourself and rest if you can, those babies need a healthy mommy. *hugs*

Thanks for taking the time to update us. I hope the medicine helps - I'm sure today was super scary for you. Thinking about you and sending lots of thoughts and prayers to Leland.
