NCDR: I've been shunned from SS

I've never been shunned from a board before. I'm kinda bummed, because I didn't do anything deliberately wrong. And I can't fix it.

My first (and now only!) swap went VERY BAD.  I swapped for a pair of Y codes in exchange for (now) two $10 off codes and apparently she claims they both say "already redeemed", when I am 1000% positive I NEVER used them. The magazine was mailed to me and never touched anyone's hands, but mine and the postman.

I'm really not a bad person, I promise.

Thinking of sending her $20. Maybe it will make me feel better.

I wouldn't send her $$- that happens ALL THE TIME with the codes. I have one code I can give you if you want.  PM me and I'll send it to you.

It was strange, because after the first one came back "already redeemed" I tried the other code on my own and it worked for me, so when she came back and said that one too was "already redeemed", I didn't know what was going on?!

I called Amazon, but she refused to call them on her own behalf, so what can I do?

That's your problem.  Once you "tried" the code, you used it.  Even if you don't make a purchase, once it's entered into the system it is considered used.

That's your problem.  Once you "tried" the code, you used it.  Even if you don't make a purchase, once it's entered into the system it is considered used. 

I asked Amazon if that could have been the case and they said absolutely not.

I didn't TRY the first code I gave her, so what's your explanation for that one?

I've used a grand total of 8 of those codes this month and one last month. How is that true for only some people?
