How long do you have to claim a recall?

We found a used nursery set....but the crib is recalled.

The recall happened about a year ago...how long do I have to claim it?

It's the white one. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I would think that the owners would have to claim the recall, since they're the ones who can prove the purchase--but I'm not positive.

I don't think it matters. If a baby gets hurt from their product, they are on the hook so they likely want to get any cribs out of use.
