First appointment went great:) but no u/s

Today was my first appointment. They changed my due date to the 23 and the doctor said the baby was measuring right on schedule!! They scheduled me for an ulltrasound at the 8 week mark. I was hoping for one today. Did anyone else have to come back for theirs?

yesh, me. I went for the 1st appointment late in week 5 and they sheduled an u/s for at 7w5d.

i didnt have to wait, but i guess they are making you wait just to make sure they see something on the ultrasound when the baby is a bit more developed.

They don't even schedule appointments until 8-12 weeks here. I have an appointment at 8 weeks 1 day. Hopefully we get an u/s.

Hi. Today was my first appt as well but no u/s. How did they know how the baby was measuring? My doc just said that I "felt" about 8/9 weeks.

I go in for my u/s next Thursday where I will be around 9/10 weeks.
