I occasionally read a board about fundies (it's called free jinger [duggar]). Anyway, I was looking through to see if there were any updates since her blog went away. Apparently she's now UU, had a fourth baby, and has left her husband, who no longer goes to the basement church college. Very interesting. Thought I'd share, because I know there were others who used to read her blog in horror.

It's a religion that doesn't believe that there is any one right answer--basically it's coming together in search of your spirituality, whatever that may be.

I know, I'm shocked! Obviously a lot of people change over time--my religious beliefs are way different than when I was younger, but that's a huge jump for someone who was so over the top not even a year ago. Hopefully this all means a better life for those boys--including not sleeping on a makeshift bunk bed sans-sheets with shelves dangling precariously above their heads or living in the back of a semi truck for the rest of their lives.

I used to lurk there a lot more. I hadn't been there in ages, and I decided to go see if I could find an update on Emily. And then I spent all last night lurking and reading.
