When did you switch LO to Foward Facing?

I am taking some heat from Hubby on this and my parents ( not that I let that influlence my decision) it just got me wondering when others switched. DS is 14 months old.

I know this can be a hot topic, I am just curious when people made the switch.

Lila is 19.5 months and she's still rear facing.  I figure - as long as she's not complaining about it, I'll leave it.

Lucy just turned 1, is still RF and will remain that way for awhile.  As close to 2 y.o. as we can get is the goal.

DD will be 14 mo. next week.  Haven't switched and don't plan to until 2 years.

In our car - 19 months (we literally ran out of space for her and she was throwing a major temper tantrum)

In our SUV - 24 months

21 months. We were going on an 8 hr car trip and wanted them to be more comfortable and be able to see the DVD player that is built into the car.

I'm still nervous about it and think about turning them back, but I doubt we will.

I switched my first 2 around 15 months (when 1 year was still the offical recommendation.) #3 My goal is 18 months or more.

# 1 we switched at 2 years and # 2 is still RF at 18 months. I will go close to 2 as I can provided he be under the weight limit for RF in our car seat. Which I need to check, BTW, as I suspect he is close!

We switched Max at 15 months, due to car sickness issues and tantrums. That all stopped as soon as we switched him. I still wonder if we did the right thing, but in his case, I think we did. We will see with number 2.

Both sets of parents are giving us a hard time, but I am aiming for 2 before we turn him around.

Mattea is 28 months and still rear facing... she will probably be that way until she reaches the max weight for rear facing in her seat.

1 year. My child loves to scream and kick very loud while being rear faced

Harper is still RFing at 21 months, but we may flip her around when we get to Seattle next week. It'll depend on how her seat fits in the car I'll be driving down there.
