not computer literate....

So I'm new to The Bump......how do I get pictures underneath where I write?  I have my DS's pic for my avatar (FINALLY figured out how to do that after multiple attempts) but I'd like to add more pics below-larger ones.

Any help is greatly appreciated!  :)
