How long do pedi's recomend your baby stay on reflux meds?

    Mine didn't say.  He started them at his 2 month appt, so I'll be asking abut it again when we go back for his 4 month appt.  They still seem to be helping him.

    IDK either.  Mine said we would gradually wean him off but not yet.

    Started to wean her at 4 months.  She had a horrible cold at about 5 1/2 months and we restarted her on them and actually increased the dosage. She is sleeping a little better.  I believe we will try again when she is 9 months.

    DS's developmental therapist said that once they can sit up on their own, the need for reflux meds usually goes down - gravity helps quite a bit.

    We just stopped ours at 5 months. So far, so good.
