Excited about DS weight gain

After a stressful 2 weeks today we found out the DS has finally passed his birth weight!

Ds was 8lbs 4oz when he was born but the following week he dropped down to 7lbs 9oz, after being monitored for the past 2 weeks, and the doctors being worried, and gave me a referral to a pediatrician he has finally passed his birth weight and is now 8lbs 8oz!  Big Smile

    I understand being excited about weight gain. DS was 5lbs 12oz when we left the hospital and he gained almost an entire pound in one week. I was so excited and proud for him!

    That's great! My LO went from 7 pounds 13 oz (on discharge day) to 8 pounds 14.5 oz one week later! I was thrilled. At 4 weeks exactly he was up to 10 lbs 9.5 oz. I can't to see what he weighs on Wednesday at his one month well visit.
