Strollers, Car seats and BBB coupons

Hi, all. Long time no post! I need some help from you fine ladies. Here goes:

1. I need to get another stroller so that I will have one for my parents (or, I may give them ours and use the one I buy). I want a stroller that is lightweight, has a wider rear wheel base, isn't super long from front to back and is easy to fold. Also, it has to be under $200 (if I can use a coupon to get it under $200, that's fine).

2. I need a less expensive, yet still safe, carseat for my car, which DD is rarely in. What suggestions do you have?

3. Does Buy Buy Baby take Bed Bath and Beyond Coupons? If so, can they be expired? Also, do they take BRU coupons? I never get coupons for Buy Buy Baby anymore and realize I may have better luck finding a stroller there.

Thanks!

Re: Strollers, Car seats and BBB coupons

  • Buy Buy Baby does not take expired coupons even their own.
  • They do take BRU coupons though--I might have one if you don't. Just let me know if you want it, I'll bring it Wednesday.

Our main stroller is the Baby Jogger City Mini. It was right at $200. I have been very, very happy with it. You can test drive them at BBB (or in the parking lot Wed.. it's in my trunk. hehe.). It has an awesome, huge sun canopy, and the fold up is a breeze--can easily be done one handed. I love that thing.

As far as a good, inexpensive car seat, a lot of people like the Cosco Scenara. It's like $40, but gets great safey ratings. It's just not "cushy," but if you just need it for occasional use, it'd be fine. You can get them at Wal-Mart or Target.

We have the Cosco Scenera Convertible. I love it. Its easy to install and the straps never get twisted. We are looking at getting the Scenera booster next!

  • Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

Hughes - if you won't use the coupon, I would love it!
