I'm beginning IVF soon and want to start with acupuncture. I was referred by RBA to Nobu however he hasn't called me back. I called him last year when I thought I was moving on to IVF and it took him 3 days so I'm not too impressed with that part but I heard he's very good. I saw on another IF board the referral of Li Hua, Has anyone gone to her? She answered right away and was very nice. She quoted me $115 for the first session then $60 each one after. Is this about right on for prices? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Atlanta ladies, who do you use for acupuncture?
I went to Nobu, and I highly recommend him, but he is pretty expensive. I think the initial session is $135 and then $100 for all further treatments. However, he doesn't feel that you need to come in as often as other acus, so I actually think it works out better. I know I've heard some people go 2x per week, but I went every other week to Nobu.
He works alone (no receptionist or anything), so call him again and leave a message and he will call you back. He is the true deal - English is his second language, but I swear I felt like I was having the most relaxing spa treatment ever and I think he really helped me with my blood circulation.
And, I am now pregnant with twins despite a bad prognosis. I think he really helped me a lot, and I am very grateful. Good luck.
I have also heard Andrea at Metro Acupunture is great, but she is even more expensive than Nobu.
Page me on SAIF if you have any more questions.
Thank you for your response. $100 every other week is fine for me. I would likely be paying $60 every week from this other person it sounded like. So yes it's more money but you are right, not as often so works out good.
I appreciate the hope you just gave. Congrats on your pregnancy!
