I'm 35 and was thrilled when I got 10 or so BFP's (i just wanted to be sure :-)) last week and have been checking out the boards...Does anyone have any advice about the differences btwn your month and trimester?  I would guess this one is more for over 35 issues...but so far they all sort of seem the same?

Not sure what you mean by differences between month and trimester but taking a guess...if it is the boards to the left, then the babies 0-3 months are those that have been born and are 0-3 months old...the trimesters are about being pregnant. The bump is for both pregnancy and afterwards.

thanks for the reply.. i was pretty unclear wasn't i...I was referring to the boards at left, but for instance, there is the nov 11 board, and the 1st trimester board, etc...just wondering if anyone got more value out of one or the other?  It seems like some of them are sort of redundant?

The tri boards were around first, I think, and you switch boards every three months instead of sticking with one.  The month boards are more consistent.  

That said, I avoid both and hang out here and on parenting 35+.  The pace and the drama is just too much for me on the others, and I relate more to the folks here.

The trimester forums are good for getting a little glance ahead at what's coming, although as you reach the end of a trimester the repetitive questions seem annoying. The Month forums are the forums for the other women due the same month as you. As mentioned the posters are usually the same group of women, but are usually considerably younger and very immature.

My preferred forum is this one, but it's not very active, so I check the other two from time to time also.

There isn't a lot of good information in them, it's mostly women venting about their inconsiderate Husbands/Mothers/In-Laws or crying about how their baby showers or lack there of. A few ask questions about their ultrasound pictures... as if anyone reading the forum is qualified to read their ultrasounds..

In other words, they seem more for social interaction than actual information on pregnancy. I was highly disappointed when  I first started reading these forums at the end of my first trimester because I was looking for help/support and information and instead found drama and women with nothing better to do all day than pick on each other (this forum excluded).
