Painting!

DH has been painting DD's new room today...it's starting to look so good! It's going to be weird seeing her current room empty, but I'm excited to get it set back up as a nursery again! Actually making these changes in our home in preparation for baby is starting to make this all seem so much more real! (as if the bump, m/s, puking and achy boobs aren't real enough! haha!)

I hear you! We are moving DD's room to the lower floor. At first I didn't want to, but she's all gung-ho about it.

We have it painted and put in new floors. She wont be moving down there for a while yet, but it's still a surreal feeling knowing that her current room will be empty and come August will be full of all baby stuff! =o)

How fun!!  Unfortunately we currently live in an apartment (ahhhh, the joys of pricey California real estate!) so we can't paint anything.

We did however find some super cute removable vinyl decals on Etsy so I can at least feel like I am decorating a little bit.  DH won't let me get the crib until June though!  Boo to him!

so jealous your DH is painting!! Our room is painted, but I'm re-doing the attic stairs (it opens up from inside the nursery). Today was the first coat of primer, and not only am I doing it myself- I get to do it all with a ventilation mask... fun. lol

We're in an apt in LA, too, and we found decals on Etsy, too - so cute! At least we can have a little fun with our nursery walls (when we move to the 2 bedroom that is!)

Decals are the best! They have some really cute ones on etsy! I fell in love with a few of them for DD's room, but DH said no since we still have to decorate the nursery too. So, my good friend who is an artist offered to paint something on her wall for us. Yay!

You are a stronger woman than me! I walked in the room that DH was painting yesterday and ran out gagging from the fumes. I had to leave the house for the majority of the day, and have had the windows open since. I'm such a baby!
