I'm bored.

Who has juicy details about their weekend to share? Any sloring going on?

Sigh. I wish. The only irresponsible thing I did this weekend was go to the casino last night and lose $100.

I'm bored too. DS is in bed already which is unusual for him.  I was considering starting a paper for school, but it's not due for two weeks so I'm wasting time online instead.

I just made the boyfriend play dominoes with me.  He said he felt like his grandparents.  LOL.

My coworkers convinced me to join them at church today.  The bf went with.

He bought a gym membership for me, and we went together today.

Then we folded my 2 weeks worth of laundry.

It was like my own version of Jersey Shore's GLT, but mine was Church Gym Laundry.

Now I am contemplating gym in the morning, or afternoon tomorrow?

    My life is pretty boring...

Friday night my family had pizza for my birthday.

Saturday I took C to Gymboree and then had dinner with my family again.

Today I took C to Water Babies, which we were late for because I got the time wrong, then we went to my sister's for my actual birthday dinner.

My big excitement was my family got me a Keurig and I'm getting a remote car starter. And BMenz went shopping for me. She picked out my Coach purse that I got myself for my birthday. It was more fun having her do it than me doing it myself.

I really need to find a boyfriend :-)

No sloring for me...  The BC guy from a few weeks ago doesn't contact me for any type of other communication, so I'm kind of writing him off since that's not really what I'm looking for anyway...  He's cute and funny and interesting and all of that, but if he were interested in anything except sex we'd actually be going out.  And I wasn't bothered by bumping into him hanging out with some other female a couple of weeks ago.

I went to a party last night and there was a guy there that I'd met about a year ago, he's newly single and according to my friends was asking about me after I left...

    Embarrassed maybe some slight sloring...

I am blaming those sex polls the other day for putting the idea in my head!

Julia, the pics are hystericalness, as are you. I just started reading a bit of your blog, and I absolutely love it.

dimake, good call. You deserve to be wined and dined!

r9, your weekend sounds lovely, all grown up like. I would love a life of dominoes and church (even though I don't go to church).

I can't remember who else has posted, but it looked like there was only a tiny bit of sloring going on.

When I went out Friday, I drank waaay too much. Apparently, I'm not in undergrad anymore and can't drink continuously for seven hours. Actually, I can. But I will be shitfaced and gravely ill the next day, and I was. Anyway, I invited a guy from work out. He happens to be hot, and we happen to flirt a lot. I'm happy nothing happened though. He admitted a while back that he has dated at least two married women. I often wonder why I'm friends with him, but he's the only guy in my life there to be flirted with. I don't respect him though. Maybe I shouldn't be friends with him. I think about that. He's incredibly funny. Anyway, that's why I'm glad nothing happened. I did have a really fun night though.

DS was at his dad's house this weekend so after work yesterday I went and spent the night at SO's house.

Then today we went to the conservatory and I took some pictures and then went shopping for Meliss227 @Coach.....it.was.divine. I bought my VERY FIRST Coach purse ever....and it's not even for me! No worries, I'm not very fond of their purses (they're too fancy for me) but I did buy a Coach wallet for myself, and got it for $23!!!!

There will be sloring going on tomorrow night because SO is coming over for dinner Angel

Yep, just a regular bunch of old acting 20s people. ;)

I was raised playing games like that-- dominoes, and card games.

    He was the avid outdoorsman.

How did the weekend go with exH having DS?  How did DS handle it?

Ugh, I had a busy weekend.

Told J to go to helll after he tried showing up at my house at 1:45am on Friday (well, Sat. morning) hoping to get a piece of action.  Which, he did not.

Had a great time out with my girlfriends Saturday night.  We danced and had dinner at a function.

Kissed a 21 YO cowboy that night...oh my.

21 YO came over to watch a movie last night.  Nothing even remotely slorish happened though.

I posted about it in another thread, maybe the one where I posted it was about to happen. It went okay. DS didn't sleep well, but I think I was just mostly surprised that DS was still my son afterward, and our relationship wasn't affected. I had catastrophized 2/25/11 for almost a year. It was almost like I thought the world would end, but it didn't. Everyone made it through completely intact. Total success. I even had a fun night out.

    Redirect those cognitive distortions.

How often will he get him?

We are starting with overnights every other Friday with the expectation that it will go to every Friday in the foreseeable future. Then he also sees him Tuesday and Sunday afternoon/evenings.

If my therapist did cognitive therapy (She's psychodynamic.), there would have been a whole lot of cognitive stuff to work with there. What ended up happening was some exposure, which was effective.

Nothing exciting here. Right now DS has bronchitis so my weekend will be full of Disney movies and laying in bed. To be honest the movies are for me Smile DS only watches once I start laughing.
