**3T Weekly Check-In**

***Hello Ladies!! I?m loving all the Feb. BFPs!! Huge hugs to all the ladies who have had struggles this week. I hope everyone had a great weekend and that this week will be nice to all of us. ***

If you would like to be added, please answer these questions in a post below:

1) What is your name (if you want to share)?

2) When did you start TTC?

3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one?

4) What treatments have you done?

If any information I have listed needs changed or if you want anything added please be sure to let me know so I can update. Good luck, everyone!!

** We?ve got some 3Ters pursuing adoption so I?ve added a section for that.  Please let me know if you would like to be added.**

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

Re: **3T Weekly Check-In**

  • Options

Update: I go to my first *real* RE appt. Thursday. I'm looking forward to getting to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about, and hopefully finding out what we can do to get KU this year!

I say *real* b/c I went to the IF dept. of my Ob/gyn's office last summer but there actually wasn't an RE or an infertility specialist for that matter, on hand. When I found out, I quit going.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

DH says I'm the bed hog...but I'm half of his size so I beg to differ...however, I do like to snuggle to stay warm...so I guess I tend to go over my "half" of the bed! :)

Yes DH plays Halo all the time...I roll my eyes at this...but hey, it keeps him out of my way so I can do housework.

I get off somewhere between 6 - 7. It sucks getting off so late...but we don't open until 9 so there's not much I can do about it.

I am looking forward to my RE appt. of course. That and next Friday night so we can have a start to another weekend!

edit: some weird html kept my paragraphs from showing up. Oops!

    Thanks for doing this Zook!!

Update:  I have my beta on Thursday, but I'm not holding out hope for a BFP.  And I think that they're forcing me to take a meds break next cycle.  Boo!!  I may try to talk them into trying something different.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

DH hogs the bed, for sure!!!  He also hogs the covers so much that I have my own comforter that I made into a sort of "sleeping bag" so he can't steal it!

Thankfully, he does not play video games.  He works too much.

    I'm a "trophy wife" and don't work.

I am working on getting my ducks in a row to start my photography business.  I'm working on launching my blog and I'll create a FB page later.  I'm going to begin having logos made.  Now, I just need to secure some session bookings!

no new news to report from me, on a BCP wait since DH is going to London next week for work. BCPs end Tuesday and then Clomid/Ovidrel/TI round 2 will begin as soon as AF decides to show herself.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

-I agree with Andie, the cats take up more space than either of us!!

-We play Wii together and sometimes he and the guys will play boy games but not oftehn.

-I get out at 5 but my 40 minute commute usually stretches to an hour so I walk in the door around 6. That is unless I have a meeting after work or am running a club meeting or am sitting in on a judicial!

-DH is in London all week so I am trying to make plans to keep from being lonely. I am going to try a belly dancing class for the first time on Thursday!

Update:  Had my baseline b/w and u/s this morning.  FSH 15, E2 95, AFC 10.  However we're not cycling, just trying on our own.  We have a consult set up for a 2nd opinion at a place by us in a couple weeks, and I want to get a consult set up some time this week with CCRM.  Hopefully we can get that done within the next month or so.

QOTW:  DH will tell you I hog the bed.  Smile  I say, whatever!  DH used to play video games on his computer but not so much anymore.  I usually get home from work between 4-5, sometimes earlier and sometimes later.  I'm a teacher and our contract time is up at 3:15 so it just depends what I've got going on that day.  I think this week I'm looking forward to Friday...Tongue Tied  It's going to be a very busy week so I'm already excited for NEXT weekend!

    3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? Haven't gotten that far yet

    4) What treatments have you done? nothing yet....just had bw and the SA and I'm having my HSG on Tuesday

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week? Neither one of us hog the bed, but our little dog is quite the bed hog.

My DH plays video games, but not excessively and usually only late at night on the weekends unless he gets a new really exciting game.

I'm a teacher and I can leave at 3:45...generally I rarely leave before 5 and usually have a 45 min commute.

This week I'm dreading and looking forward to my HSG...I just want answers at this point.

Zook, thank you for keeping up this check-in.  I am starting to feel like I don't know anyone on the board anymore.  At least with the check-in, we usually get updates from those we know and learn a little bit about those we don't know.

Update:  I go into the RE tomorrow.  Hopefully my cyst is gone or at least small enough I can stop the aygestin.  I think AF is going to kick my butt after taking aygestin for so long.  I have been having really bad cramps for more than a week now.  I'm also planning on talking to my nurse about timing of testing and possibly cycling with my old RE again since I won a cycle.

QOTW:  Now that we have a king size bed, I don't think either of us hog it.  Sometimes it is hard to even find each other.

Yes, MH plays a lot of video games on PS3.  He used to play Call of Duty all the time.  But he really doesn't like Black Ops (the new version).  So, now he is playing Gran Turismo a lot and hockey on occasion.

Unfortunately, I work really long hours.  I never get home before 6 and often closer to or after 9.  It is starting to take its toll.  But, my job is the only reason we have been able to afford IVF OOP and I am not sure how many more tries we are going to be able to afford anyway.

I don't really have anything in particular I am looking forward to this week.  I guess finally talking to my nurse at the new RE about moving forward with testing and cycling with my old RE.  I am also looking forward to stopping aygestin (fingers crossed).

Hi Zook and all my 3T ladies! I missed the check-in last week. So, I'm glad to be here tonight. We are mid-way through our TTA cycle. I have my lap on Tuesday. Any T&P that you can spare would be greatly appreciated. I got the results of my CD 3 B/W and my FSH is slightly elevated according to the lab that I used. My RE feels confident that I have a good egg reserve b/c my AMH was normal and she did the u/s to look for antral follicles and I had a good amount. I am not completely "sold" that there isn't anything wrong with my egg reserve. But, I have responded very well to Femara during all of my cycles with it. I guess time will tell. Anywho, after this cycle is over, we will be doing IUI with Femara, Menopur and a trigger shot. I am excited and scared at the same time.

DH says I'm the bed hog. I think it's equal. We have a king sized bed, so it really isn't a problem now.

DH rarely plays video games. We don't have any of the newer systems. However, I LOVE to play the game Banjo Kazooie on my N64. Yes, I know that's an old system, but I don't care. It's a fun game!

I am usually home from work between 4 and 5 pm. I leave for work at 6:30 am each morning.

I am looking forward to getting this lap over with!

And for Zook ~ Thanks so much for keeping us all in touch with each other. Thanks for posting the check-ins. You are awesome!

Update: Nothing new here.  I'm going for CD3 bloodwork at the new RE's office when AF arrives in March, then BCP, Lupron and IVF #3 in April.

Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

I don't think I'm a bed hog, but DH says I'm the cover hog... yeah, probably.

DH and I have a Wii that we play occasionally, but not very often.  He doesn't usually play without me, but sometimes does the driving games without me that I'm awful at.

As of last month, I'm working from our new home in Indy for my employer in IL.  However, I'm an accountant and it is busy season, so I work until 8-9pm Mon-Thurs, but only 5pm on Fridays, and then I work Saturdays too... that's why I'm not on the bump as much this time of year.

I'm looking forward to the weather getting better and no snow... I hope.  I'm also looking forward to getting my car washed since it badly needs it and I've been saying that for months.

    Update: 7dpiui, chugging along...

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

I am the bed hog, I get cold easily so I always roll over to DHs side.

Yes we have a Wii and he plays but usually only when stressed from work.

I get home by 5:30 usually.  I am looking forward to my acupuncture appnt this week and my Monday coffee from Caribou!

    Brandywine, T&Ps for you chica!

Update:  I had my ET today - a 3 day.  After a real rollar coaster of ups and downs and only having 1 egg make it, I had a beautiful grade 8 A embryo transferred today.  I am trying to think positive thoughts for success.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

These are good questions - lol.  DH would say that I am the bed hog, I would disagree.

DH does not really play video games.  The only up-to-date system we have is the wii and that doesn't have the games he used to play when he was single and had lots of free time.

I am lucky, I work at a school,  so I get home around 4:00pm each day.  Of course, I start work at 7:30, so I guess that is not so lucky.

This week is a busy week for me and I am less than thrilled with that.  I have to wrok late on Tuesday night, until 8:00pm and that just exhausts me.   I only worked 2 days last week (between President's Day, a snow day and my ER) so working 5 days this week will feel rough - lol.

Update: Just had IUI # 2.1 this morning.  Sperm count was 42.5 million!  I had 2, possibly 3 follies and another IUI tomorrow morning.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Neither of us, really.  I am a blanket hog, though:)

Does YH play video games? Yes, very much so.  I don't mind at all because it gives me time to spend on the web.  We just recently got a Kinect that I'm totally addicted to.  So fun!

How late do you usually get home from work? Between 3:30 and 4

What are you looking forward to this week? I can't think of anything except the IUI tomorrow.  I am really dreading this 2ww.

    Hi Ladies!

Zookbride - I know I just updated you...so thanks fro adding me to the list.  :-)

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

I am a bed hog for sure!  I go to bed before DH and usually spread out and then toss and turn all night.  DH goes to bed and barely moves.  Except of course when I wake him to turn on his side because he is snoring.  ;-)

Yes DH loves to play video games.  He plays some on the computer when he is not being overworked and we sometimes play with the wii.

I'm not currently working.  The company I was working for closed down last year right around the time we moved and my Grandfather was dying so DH and I decided I would take some time off indefinitely.  Planning to go back to school hopefully this Spring.

This week I am looking forward to having my last test done at the RE's office.  I have a follow-up U/S on Tuesday to make sure the cyst that showed on the original U/S is gone.  Here's hoping!  Then its time to wait until 3/10 when we have our "re-group" meeting with the RE.

STL34 - Sending cyst be gone vibes your way

Brandywinie - Good luck with the lap.  Definitely sending T&Ps your way.

Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

Funny thing about beds.  Notice how I said "beds".  Yes, we have seperate beds in the same room.  We live rent free in Kenya but our organization wasn't originally set up for couples.  So, we each have a twin bed and pushing them together isn't really an option since we have to have mosquito nets on the beds and the nets are designed for a single twin bed.  Yeah, we're TTC and not even sharing a bed....

Does YH play video games? We play Wii sports sometimes but that is about it, he would rather be watching hockey...

How late do you usually get home from work? 4:30. I am also a grad student so on the nights I have class I get home around 9.

No updates for me this week.

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? Does YH play video games? How late do you usually get home from work? What are you looking forward to this week?

I think it's half and half about who's the bed hog. Sometimes it's DH, and sometimes it's me.

OMG. Does my DH play video games?!! That's all he does. LOL JK. He plays soccer too.

I usually get home from work around 9:30pm because I usually work until 9 most days. If I work Sunday I work until 6 and get home at 6:30pm.

This week I'm looking forward to a potential new job. I'm going to an info session this Wednesday for the position.

Wow, i never thought I would see my name on the list of success stories. First beta was 18 on 2/22 and rose to 80 on 2/25. I had draw #3 this morning. I took a FRER yesterday morning to ease my mind and the test line came up within the first minute and was almost as dark as the control line:)

QOTW: Random questions: Who?s the bed hog, you or DH? I think I am the bed hog when choosing between DH and myself but Brady is the worst. He is an 18 lb. cat who likes to sleep cuddled up right in between us. Does YH play video games? We have a Wii and just bough a few new games but unfortunately neither one of us has much time to play. How late do you usually get home from work? I get home @ 5:00, work 8-4:30. What are you looking forward to this week?   I am looking forward to another strong beta or 2 and hopefully scheduling my first ultrasound!

    Hi everyone!

Big, big thanks to Zook for keeping up with this! :)

No real update from me- just taking Synthroid and waiting for my follow up with the Endo on 3/11. I'm starting acupuncture tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that.

DH plays very little video games- sometimes we have wii parties!

I ususally get home around 6:30. I have about an hour and a half long commute! BOO!

I start acupuncture tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that starting.
