Does anyone use cloth diapers? I've been wondering about those....is that crazy or doesn anyone use them and like them? I've seen ads for some cool looking ones...not the old ones with pins. Prices, favorites? I'm thinking about the cost/waste of disposable ones.
Re: cloth diapers?!
I'm planning on using them and my sister does. I use Cotton Babies for most of the diapers I have been buying.

I use them and love them as well! We use bumgenius 4.0. I got them from a local company, but she gets them from Cotton babies. I think for everything, the pail, liners, sprayer and 30 diapers it was about 500 dollars. We won't need any other diapers at any point and can use them for a second baby.
The ones we use are one size she has been in them since week 2, we have only had a couple pee leaks from her laying on her side, the legs where not tight enough, after adjusting we've had no issues....and no rashes at all.
This is what we use, too. It has been awesome for us for our son, and now having 2 in diaps, we have spent no more money
Cheap and easy!
Ditto! perfect for NB. We use thristies covers
We just started using them last week and I really like them so far. I used "hybrids" off and on with DS2 (gDiapers and flips) and have gotten a full cloth stash for DD. I hate laundry, but adding the diapers to the mix hasn't been too bad so far.
I slowly stocked up throughout my pregnancy and got several different brands to see what we'd like. I recommend getting at least a few different kinds before you fully commit to a style or brand. We're learning there are some that don't work well for us or DD. Right now I'm still using disposables to supplement until we know for sure which kind we want to get more of. Some companies have trials you can order to check out different styles (Jillian's Drawers has a great program).
We will be using them - A is too small to fit into them quite yet, so we're in disposables for now.
We purchased 24 of the Bum Genius 4.0. They are all in one (diaper, cover, absorbent insert), one size adjustable diaper. They are about $18 per diaper, but we got them on sale (buy 5 get 1 free). Definitely a good deal since we'll be using them at least 2 years for each child we end up having, and in three weeks we've spent $60 on disposables.
We chose cloth for the environmental impact, the ease of use, and the cost.
