Hearing HB?

Does anyone else have the Summer heartbeat listening device thingy from Babies r us? 

I seem to hear a TON of static, and I was blessed to hear...MY OWN heartbeat.  Lol.  And even then it was hard to find, and it SHOULDN'T BE. 

Any one have luck with this thing?

I have not used it or own it but a few of my friends own one and they all told me the only work late in pregnancy. Good luck.

Yeah I think this thing is about as good as a stethoscope.

I had that thing when I was pregnant with DS and even at 38+ weeks pregnant I couldn't hear a thing.  IMO, it's a piece of crap
