Black tie event April 23

I was SO excited to go to this until I realized Easter is the next day and the event is in a town 1.5 hrs away.  We normally would stay the night but my family is the only one who can watch the boys over night and they like to go to church on Easter and I know they wont want to try and take the boys with.  Not to mention we have two family dinners we will have to go to so I guess I wont be drinking much.  So much for an exciting night out.

  • Can they attend the late mass on Easter Sunday?  You could leave the hotel by 8:30ish and be back in timeto pick up the boys.  Whenever we get a chance to do something out-of-the-ordinary (especially just the two of us), we find a way to make it happen.  Get creative and treat yourself to a nice evening with your hubby, you won't regret it.  Big Smile

They usually go to the 8am service because Easter "dinner" is between 12-1 and the late service doesn't get out till 1130 or noon.  I'm really trying to find a way to make it work!  We are going to go regardless I just dont want to have rush coming home since we finally get a night away.

  • BIL and his fiance scheduled their WEDDING that day and then when we were about to RSVP, they said no kids at all, including DD. Needless to say, I'm not going. DH is still undecided about it.
