Yesterday I went in for my 12 week appointment and the NP was not able to find the baby's heartbeat with the doppler. She scanned me with the u/s and said she still wasn't able to find it. After 5 hours in the ER it was confirmed that we had lost the baby. We saw the heartbeat on the u/s 3 weeks ago and started telling our family and friends so I think the worst part is going to be un-telling everyone. We are devastated.

I'm so sorry, I too had a late(ish) m/c around 11 and a half weeks and it is just devistating...there are no words to make it better but take strength in looking at your other two beautiful children!!!
Oh no! I am so sad for your loss I cannot image that. I hope that your physical healing (procedure?) will be soon. For the untelling, try to do a phone tree of sorts... don't subject yourself to telling more than the minimum number of people and they can spread the news so that you don't have to keep talking about it to everyone. Please, keep talking here though and let us know how you're doing. Hugs!!!
I'm so sorry I hope you are (physically) feeling better soon. And that friends and family fully acknowledge your loss and don't, with good intentions at heart, tell you it was "early," or "you can have other kids," or "just be thankful for the two kids you already have."
I'm so, so sorry. I know how hard this is. Our first pregnancy ended in m/c at 9 weeks and we found out the same way. It is devastating. Take some time to grieve, if you can, and I agree with letting other people spread the news for you. I'll be thinking of you.
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you are able to begin to heal physically and emotionally. Give yourself time to grieve and your body time to heal- it really is traumatic physically too. I'm so sorry that happened. Know that you are not alone, and that we're here for you however you need.
