Registry stalkers poll

So for those who are stalking their registries, what is the thing that has been bought that you are most excited about?     In my case, the infant carseat because it is a need not just a want.

What is the thing you would most like to see get bought?   Probably either the pack n play or swing.

I discovered that with BRU you can log into your registry rewards and see any purchases even if they aren't on your registry if say a person bought two items one on the registry and one not on it.  I have to say the biggest surprise thing that was bought was a backpack diaper bag.  DH wanted one, but was just going to buy a cheapie back pack to use.  This one is 50 bucks and really nice with a thermal bottle pouch and changing pad thingie.

I am stalking it as well--however, we are not having a baby shower until after she is born; so I doubt many things will go on the registry. 

Our families are pitching in and getting us the needed stuff before the baby is born; but all the "fun stuff" would probably be after.

I've been stalking mine for like a week now but I know the invites to my shower haven't gone out yet so nothing has been bought off of it yet.  People have been visiting though!

Nothing has really been bought yet as no invites to our shower have been sent (my mom bought us the mobile in advance and our swing as a present for our first shower).

What would you most like to see get bought?

 Cloth diapers- we registered for 6 5packs of diapers in two different sizes. They are $50 a pack so in total $600 worth of diapers- if we get a lot of these it'll be a big help.

Honestly, my MIL bought us all of the stuff I realllllly wanted.  She got us our travel system, extra car seat base and a PNP.  Now, if someone would like to buy the Rock N Play, some sheets and possibly the swing I would be golden.  I was thinking the other day, that basically we are prepared for a baby to come home.  We have some diapers, a place for her to sleep and clothes.  We just need some sheets for that bedding hahah.

I was shocked that one friend has bought a $70 activity mat and another bought our Bumbo + a $25 pair of Trumpette socks.

One of my friends knows I'm stalking so she ordered my car seat RIGHT before the shower and it was a total surprise! She put a photo and note in a card so we'd know it was purchased.

I'm excited about everything, because it's stuff we need and want. All the big things except a breast pump & Exersaucer are purchased, and we still have 3 showers to go. If those don't get bought for us, that's fine we can buy them for ourselves.

I was very, very grateful that the travel system, pnp and booster high chair were purchased because they are expensive and very, very useful.  I don't care about the foofy stuff as much.  Frankly, I am just so grateful that anybody is buying anything that it's a delight to see anything checked off the list

Isn't it crazy to think about the sheer amounts of money other people are spending on your baby?  I added up just the dollar amount of stuff that has been marked off my registry so far (not counting the stuff I have bought lol) and it is staggering.  It makes me feel quite loved and good golly this kid is obviously loved.  I had always heard people were quite generous with baby showers (and I know I always have been) but this is crazy.

Nothing has been purchased off our registry but my shower is in two weeks so some stuff might be purchased next weekend. In our families people tend to not buy from the registry for baby showers so I am not expecting to be doing as much stalking as I did our wedding registry.

I know! I was honestly shocked at the generosity of our friends.

Some of the people who spent the most were single men! (DH's friends from college.)

I want to stop stalking at this point so there will be some surprises tomorrow, but I can't.  It is a sickness I tell ya.  LOL

But I was super happy because one of the things that I really wanted, but wouldn't have gone and bought because it wasn't a need just a super want got bought.  It is the turtle nightlight that puts constellations on the ceiling.  I really wanted it for the baby's room which is done up in turtles.  And someone bought it!

I didn't know about the BRU rewards program! I just read about and signed up!  A few small things have been purchased so far, but we won't get the point from them.  Now not only will I watch my registry all the time, but I'll be checking my rewards as well just in case someone bought something extra.  Thanks for the info!

I'm not having a shower, nor have I advertised the registry that DH and I created for our own reference...and already seven things have been purchased from it. Apparently friends and family are just searching our registry. No complaints here, and I am equally excited about the nursing pads as I am the pack and play.

The program is really nice (and not just for stalking registries.)  Last time they did it, I got 11 reward bucks and another five that I never got in my email so didn't get to use.  But I used them towards a set of breathable bumpers.

Edited to add:  I am already up to 15 reward bucks this month.

Now that is impressive.  LOL  You won't have to get anything at this rate.  LOL

 I imagine anyone looking at my registry probably thinks I am a super freak.  I really am in a turtle and an owl kick.  There are so many turtle and owl things on there.
