I found someone on CL who has a basically new (used twice) Baby Jogger City Mini Double w/the car seat attachment. If I bought new, these would run me around $460. They are asking $375 but I would have to drive 90 miles to pick it up. It's been on CL for over a month. I double-checked and it's still available (waiting for them to send me pics of the actual stroller etc).
What would you offer for this?
Re: How much would you offer for this?
I would say because of the travel 275. I know that is a low ball, but it is a starting point, and it is used (if at all). I would just tell them that you can get a brand NEW one from buy buy baby with a 20 % off coupon for 368. Plus you have to drive that far to get it. We are not far from BBB if you need help getting one to avoid shipping! Let me know, but I think that you can get a better deal than 375 for a used one!
I do some re-selling ect, and the big re-sale we have suggests that products to be priced at 30% of retail, and once-upon a child will not ever pay more than 50% of retail, so you know they will never get more than that for it if they went elsewhere. There is a reason it has been sitting there for a month.
Thanks for the suggestion and the tip about BBB, forgot about them. We don't have one locally but I could always convince DH to take a day trip for the new beebee, but thanks for the offer, if it comes down to it and we can't get there, I might just take you up on that offer!
I was thinking in that ballpark too but wanted to make sure I wasn't being insulting:)
Haha, good to know!:)
