I read about Reese Li's bags on here somewhere, from someone and I am in love. I might go for one of them. They are sold on Amazon and she has her own website.
I have the Carter's Everyday tote in blue/brown--and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I had a messenger bag first--from walmart--and hated that dam thing. It wouldn't close, and didn't hold hardly anything. With the tote, I can stuff it for an all-day outing and it holds it all. they also make it in pink/brown
I actually searched for diaper bags on etsy (we have an Eddie Bauer one for DD that I hate), and they have really cute affordable ones! I think that's the route I'll be going this time...

Honestly? I got the Nestle freebie and it's pretty much the only one I use. I have another, larger one, that I use if I need to bring more things along, but this little backpack really rocks my world!
I hated the one I had with dd, gonna get rid of it once I dig out the baby stuff.
I got a Moby diaper backpack for dh to use, which is quite roomy with lots of pockets.
I am thinking of splurging and getting one made by a company a friend has, Lamba Bamba, they are super cute. I haven't decided, I have to find something eventually.
Some advice on diaper bags is that eventually I figured out with dd that you don't always need to have the huge bag with you, just in your car if you won't be far from it. Use a big purse to stash a diaper, wipes, baggies, along with your things, then you don't have to deal with a giant bag and if you have a major incident just go get the stuff from your car.

I bought this one a while ago. I'm not actually sure how practical it is, it seems like it will work, but I fell in love and could not be convinced otherwise...
Re: diaper bags
My dream diaper bag is the Gucci seen below
I also like some of the Vera Bradley diaper bags.
