I'm Coming Back to the board

Hey all.  I had my son, Robert Michael, on Jan 31st (I just made it under the wire haha).

We went in for a NST and they decided to induce me because I showed signs of pre-eclampsia.  I was 40w4d and not dilated or effaced at all. I started cytotec and went two rounds (without progressing) before my labs came back and they didn't like what they were seeing so we had a c-section that night.  So much for my all natural and med free labor.  It was interesting and I was just glad to have my son.  It's been a wonderful 3 and a half weeks but it's had some very stressful moments.  That's why I'm back on here because I NEED you ladies

Hi DaniGirl!

Congratulations on your Little One! I was overdue too, I was eleven days overdue when they induced me. Nasty labor for 26 hours!  Totally worth it though. Vincent is amazing and soooo worth the wait! I love him! And Im so glad you are doing well!

I am on the FB group but it's hard for me to keep up and have time to get on the computer. Anyway he was 8lbs 5oz and 21 inches long. He's up over 10 lbs now!!! He's so big.
