does your baby hate massage?

i can barely get lotion on her without her kicking and fighting it. i've tried to do the gentle, calming massage thing but it makes her squirm and wriggle. anyone else?

DS tolerates it.  It does nothing for him.

Yes---if I try to put lotion on him, he screams.

mine likes it as long as i barely touch her tummy. she's fine everywhere else but she has a thing about her tummy.

He doesn't even care to get lotioned after a bath, so we never bothered trying massage.

We don't really "massage", but DS hates getting lotion put on. It sucks because we need to do it twice a day due to his eczema.

DS likes it after his bath...I think it relaxes him.  He isn't a fan of on his stomach either...not sure why...

she's not crazy about massages or lotion. She gets fussy when I try to put lotion on her after a bath.

We've only tried it after bath. I suppose we oughta try it when she's happy...
